Welcome to the Kanon section of Ares Anime Page. Kanon is a rather unique little series in that there is several versions of it out there.
Kanon actually started out as a hentai game from Elf. The game proved so popular, that a general release version was made so that all ages could enjoy Kanon. From there it went to a successful manga run. Finally it evolved into a thirteen episode anime series.
But it doesn't stop there. Fans have went as far as creating a doujin game called Eternal Fighter Zero that features characters from Kanon and To Heart and other anime series. Not to mention the countless doujin manga based on Kanon.
While this series or the games have yet to be licensed in America, hopefully a good company like Bandai or ADV will pick this gem up.
