Yume de Aetara (If I See You In My Dreams) tells the story of a young businessman by the name of Misou Fuguno. Misou is very devoted to his job, however because of this he has suffered in the relationship department. After a long day of work, Misou walks home in the pouring rain when the folder of papers he was carrying drops to the ground. Just when he was feeling his most desperate, a warm and friendly hand reaches out to him. She helps Misou collect his papers, and gives him a handkerchief to wipe his face. Before he could ask her anything, she was gone. Even more desperate, Misou feels like he will be stuck as a single person forever. That is, until another chance encounter with the girl at the train station. From there, Misou will do anything to find out more about this girl.
